The Baby Show had experienced the effects of the pandemic and realised they needed to explore new engagement models to survive.
We completed depth interviews and focus groups with over 36 new and expectant parents to uncover insights.
Insights were developed as strategic drivers to build out growth opportunities for the brand.
The Baby Manual came from the insight that parents just want a ‘manual’ to understand how they look after their baby.
Everything from birth planning to feeding and sleep causes anxiety for first time parents, but every parent would need a unique manual.
The Baby Manual was launched in May 2023 at The Baby Show NEC, gaining over 1,500 users in week one.
Hunch, uncovered the deep insights through a series of focus groups and depth interviews. Co-Created ‘The Baby Manual’ with the Baby Show team. After initial sign off, Hunch built the MVP and launched it with users within 6 months.
